Data source for Friedman test¶
Friedman test expects that there are N treatments with observations arranged in blocks.

Only one observation per Treatment/Block pair is allowed. For this example, having another row of data for Asia would not be allowed.
If you do not provide block names (Asia, Africa, America), Quantum XL will consider each row as a different block.
Data can be in table format (like on the image above), or it can be stacked. If data is in stacked format, three columns are required: columns for Treatment, Blocks, and for the Response. Data in Treatment and Blocks can be numerical, text, or a combination of both. Response data must be all numerical.
For stacked data format:
-
Select three data columns and use 'Group By' data source.
-
Enter Response column name in 'Data column' field, and Treatment ('Gender' in this example) and Block ('Location' in this example) columns in 'Group By' and '... then Group By' fields.
