Define Replicates and Blocks¶

-
Select number of replicates: Choose how many times you would like the design to be replicated. With more replicates comes additional cost; however, you also have more statistical power. Some designs, such as full factorial and Taguchi designs, provide a "Help Me Choose" button to calculate the number of replicates for the desired power.
-
Number of Center Points per block: Use the dropdown box to select the number of center points. Center points can be added to two-level factorial designs. Note: this option is only available in some designs.
-
Select number of blocks: Quantum XL supports blocking via aliasing or within the replicates. All of the options will be displayed in the drop down box.
-
Fold Design: Choose your folding option from the drop down box.
