The Exponential distribution is a continuous probability distribution commonly used to express the time between events in a Poisson process. The Exponential distribution can be 1-Parameter and 2-Parameter. The pdf for the 2-Parameter is below. When Gamma (offset) is zero, the 2-Parameter simplifies into the 1-Parameter. The Weibull distribution can also simplify into the exponential distribution when Beta =1.
